Sturt Reserve Murray Bridge

This large, open reserve is situated on the banks of the River Murray. This park is a lovely place to just sit, relax and watch the many passing river vessels. This reserve is also the home of the Bunyip. This mythical creature from aboriginal dreamtime beliefs rules here from the water on your command. Multiple barbeques and picnic settings are provided under shade. A fully fenced junior/toddler playground with a riverboat theme is popular as is the rage cage, which will test your skills in a range of indoor-style sports. There is tonnes of room for all of your kick and play activities. A hilly BMX track and a skate ramp are available for those who prefer wheels. Those using wheelchairs unassisted have good access. Dogs on leads are always welcome. Parking is provided.

Roundhouse – Murray Bridge
Historic Roundhouse: A South Australian treasure
Discover this iconic heritage building which was completed as part of the Murray Bridge construction project, the first bridge to span the Murray (1879). The roundhouse was handcrafted by stonemasons in 1876 and additions completed in 1918.
Enjoy the views of the bridges, river and a display of historic memorabilia and photographs. Tea and coffee available at a small cost.  No bookings required for this event.
